The Highlands Junior Christian Student Union is a student-led gathering. It is a non-denominational time of fellowship with a short devotional presented by a student. The Christian Student Union meets every Tuesday morning at 8:00 in the auditorium. Parents and teachers are always welcome to join us. Every September, the Christian Student Union leads the prayer rally for See You At The Pole. The Highlands Junior student body and teaching staff, along with area ministers and countless parents gather around a flag placed on the pitcher’s mound of one of the ball fields in front of the school. Each year, the Christian Student Union takes on a missionary role by collecting clothes, toys and food items to give to missionaries overseas or needy families in the community. In the spring they plan a lock-in at a local church, inviting students from Highlands Junior to come join them for food, fun and fellowship.
