Welcome to Baytown Junior's Library web pages!
What we do...
We are a
junior high school library with a full-time, certified
librarian on staff. We provide literature and research
assistance to approximately 750 students on a day-in,
day-out basis.
Library hours...
Patrons are welcomed to the library
daily from 8am to 4pm. From 8am to 8:30am, students may
exchange books, peruse magazines, and utilize student
computers for research purposes
Library visits...
Language Arts classes
are scheduled to visit the library every other week
where they receive a lesson coordinated to curriculum
goals and exchange books. Additional visits may be
scheduled through the librarian. Any departments besides
Language Arts are encouraged to visit the library,
however they must schedule each visit on a
come-as-needed basis. Individual students may visit the
library to conduct research or exchange books if they
have permission from their teacher.
Circulation
Policies...
The loan period for books that are
checked out is two weeks. A $0.05 cent late fee is
charged for each book after a one-day grace period has
passed. Books that are checked out may be renewed for as
long as needed as long as there is no great demand for
the title. Those two owe $2.00 or greater OR have two
late books may NOT check out books.
A
message from our librarian...
I am
proud to welcome you to our new library web pages. Check

Sincerely,
