Welcome
to De Zavala Elementary!
Active, engaged, student-centered classrooms are in abundance at De Zavala Elementary School! On any given day, you can witness students and teachers involved in a variety of learning activities as we work together to develop life-long learners. As one of the district's most successful elementary schools, De Zavala has a reputation for high academic achievement from the Texas Education Agency for student performance on the state-mandated tests. Adding to this are our commitments to positive student-staff relationships and strong character development. Since opening our doors for the first time in1992, De Zavala has remained enthusiastic about the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students.
We welcome the opportunity to share our school with one and all, as De Zavala is the school of choice!
