  APPLICATION PROCESS

We appreciate your interest in Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District! The process described below will aid you in applying for a position in any of our three employment job families.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • The Personnel Department is pleased to inform you that the District is moving to an online “paperless” applicant tracking system to simplify the hiring process for all full-time and part-time positions.
  • All applicants interested in a (1) Teacher, Nurse, Librarian, (2) Administrative/Professional, or
     (3) Classified position advertised must complete an online application, view all jobs, and apply for the position of interest.  Please note that paper applications will no longer be accepted for Auxiliary/Paraprofessional, Food Service, Maintenance, Operations, Security, and Transportation job opportunities.
  • An online application becomes active for one year when all required fields have been completed. Applicants may reactivate for one additional year by updating their online application. You must click the view/apply button to link your application to a specific advertised job.
  • Completed applications will be screened for each opportunity advertised and for other vacancies as need.  Candidates will be called for an interview based on meeting District and program qualifications for the position.
  • The Supervisor and/or designee will contact applicants regarding the interview schedule for each advertised position.
  • The Principal/Supervisor will make a recommendation for employment to the Personnel Director.
  • The designated Personnel Director will make an official offer and schedule an appointment for the candidate to finalize paperwork.

Specific procedures for each job family are described below.  We look forward to you completing your application.
