GATE nomination forms to be available during kindergarten round-up

Goose Creek CISD will hold gifted/talented identification for incoming kindergarten students who enroll during kindergarten round-up, which is May 6 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at all GCCISD elementary schools.    The nomination process is open to any student who will be enrolling as a kindergarten student in GCCISD.

Teachers, parents, and any other interested persons may nominate a student to be screened for the program.  Nomination forms are available at each elementary campus and the GCCISD Administration Building, 4544 Interstate 10 East, as a part of the kindergarten registration packet. Students who have not yet registered for kindergarten in GCCISD are stull eligible for nomination.

In order for students to participate in the identification process, completed nomination forms must be received in the Office of Advanced Academics at the GCCISD Administration Building no later than Monday, May 19.  The nomination process will close at 5 p.m. May 19.
