Jessie Martinez was elected to the Goose Creek CISD Board of Trustees in May 2023.A lifelong resident of Baytown, he is a product of Goose Creek CISD and a proud Robert E. Lee High School graduate. He earned his associate degree from Lee College and will complete his bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in December 2023.
Jessie is very active on campus, where he currently serves as the president of Sigma Tau Delta UHCL International English Honor Society. His passion is education and plans on pursuing a career in higher education upon earning his master’s degree. An administrator with Virginia Malone Realty, he occasionally returns to the district as a substitute teacher to give back to the community and gain a better understanding of life as an educator.
His term ends in May 2027.
