Warm Heart Blanket Project
Dr. Antonio Bañuelos Elementary School fourth grade GATE students are collaborating with San Jacinto Methodist Hospital to collect blankets for patients in need. The blankets will be given to patients who are in the hospital.
“It makes our hearts feel good to know that a sick patient will have a warm blanket for comfort,” said fourth-grade teacher Linda LeDay. “I hope the students get a sense of the value of community service.”
The school will collect blankets until December 14, 2017. If you would like to donate a blanket, please drop it off in the front office at the school at 7770 East Point, Baytown, TX.
