As part of the federal American Rescue Plan Act, state education agencies were recently allocated Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER III) funds to respond to the pandemic and to address student learning loss, safety, and social and emotional learning as a result of COVID-19.

In order for GCCISD to receive ESSER III funds, the district must provide an opportunity for public comment from stakeholder groups including student, parents, school district staff, community members, and Business Partners on how ESSER III funds are spent across GCCISD campuses and the district.

GCCISD will provide an opportunity for public comment regarding the Federal ARP ESSER III Program Funds on Monday, June 7, 2021, 6:30 p.m. at the GCCISD Administration Building.

Stakeholders are invited to attend this opportunity for public comment to express their opinion regarding the design, planning, and implementation of the Federal ARP ESSER III Program Funds.
