Mrs. America USA Pageant Contestants Donate Supplies to GCCISD Schools

Mrs. America USA Pageant Contestants Donate Supplies to GCCISD Schools

 Mrs. Colorado Valerie Daly delivers backpacks to Bowie Elementary with Al Richard (right), Kiwanian and Goose Creek CISD board president. Also pictured are (from left) Blanca Capetillo, principal; Laila Cardona; Ciara Keene; David Benavides and Ydalia Curiel, all fourth graders. The Mrs. America USA organization donated backpacks and supplies to GCCISD schools for students affected by Hurricane Harvey, and several contestants, representing their states, came in to distribute them.

Mrs. America USA pageant contestants generously donated to the cause, and several spent time in the district sorting and delivering them.
