Goose Creek CISD students who did not take the STAAR or EOC assessment(s) during the 2020-2021 school year will take the BOY (Beginning of the Year) assessment in order to opt-out of the HB 4545 tutoring mandate. Only students who did not take the STAAR/EOC assessment(s) will be able to opt-out of tutorials. 
 
Students will test from August 22, 2021, to September 1, 2021, and receive results by September 7, 2021.
