This new employee link is provided for those who have been offered and accepted a campus paraprofessional position with Goose Creek CISD. It is our hope that we can make the new hire process a positive experience for you.
If you’re being recommended for hire in an instructional setting (Special Ed. Aide, Classroom Aide, Library Aide and etc.), you are required by NCLB to be deemed highly qualified before being hired in Goose Creek CISD.

Please note that there is a $32 fee required by TEA when you apply and pay for the Educational Aide certificate.
Upon being recommended for hire in an instructional paraprofessional position, a member of the HR team will contact you regarding your highly qualified status. If you have 48 college hours from an accredited institution recognized by TEA, please make sure that you have a copy of your official transcripts as the Local Education Agency (LEA) must verify your 48 hours before being hired.
If you do not have 48 college hours from an accredited institution, the HR team member will assist you with setting up an appointment for you take the PAKS exam that is offered in-district.
