FOOTBALL STADIUMS
Stallworth Stadium – located at the intersection of Archer Road and Sjolander Road in Baytown. Stallworth Stadium is the home site for Robert E. Lee and Ross S. Sterling varsity football games.
The stadium can be accessed from three directions:
The stadium is located approximately one-half mile south of I-10. Traveling east from Houston, exit at North Main Street, go south to the first traffic light (Archer Road), and turn left. The stadium will be on the right approximately one mile from the Archer Road / North Main Street intersection.
Traveling west from Beaumont, exit at Sjolander Road, go south to the first four-way stop sign and turn right. The stadium will be visible from the four-way stop sign at the intersection of Archer Road and Sjolander.
Traveling from the south, take Hwy. 146 North over the Fred Hartman Bridge linking Baytown with LaPorte. Remain on Hwy. 146 (do not take Business Hwy. 146) after crossing the bridge. Take the North Main Street exit off of Hwy. 146 and turn left onto North Main. Travel north on North Main until reaching Archer Road. Turn right on Archer Road and Stallworth Stadium is approximately one mile from the Archer / North Main intersection.
Pete Sultis Stadium (formerly Memorial Stadium) – located at the intersection of Martin Luther King (MLK) Drive (formerly Stadium Drive) and Gentry Road on the campus of Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown. Sultis Stadium is the home site for Robert E. Lee junior varsity, sophomore, and freshman football games and for REL boys' and girls' soccer matches.
The stadium can be accessed from three directions:
From the south, travel north on Hwy. 146, crossing the Fred Hartman Bridge into Baytown. Remain on Hwy. 146 North (do not take the Business 146 exit off the bridge) and exit at West Texas Avenue. Turn right onto West Texas Avenue to the first traffic light (intersection of Decker Drive, Texas Avenue, and Market Street) and turn right onto Market Street. Travel on Market one-fourth mile and turn left onto MLK Drive / Stadium Drive. The stadium will be on your left.
From the east, travel west on I-10. Exit at Garth Road and turn left onto Garth. Travel approximately seven miles until Garth dead-ends into Decker Drive. Turn left onto Decker and remain on Decker as it turns into Market Street (Decker Drive, Market Street, and Texas Avenue converge at one intersection). Travel on Market one-fourth mile and turn left onto MLK Drive / Stadium Drive. The stadium will be on your left.
From the west, travel east on I-10. Take the first Baytown exit (Spur 330). Spur 330 merges onto Decker Drive. Remain on Decker approximately five miles until Decker turns into Market Street (Decker, Market, and Texas Avenue converge at one intersection). Travel on Market one-fourth mile and turn left onto MLK Drive / Stadium Drive The stadium will be on your left.
Drew Dunlap Field (@Sterling)- located behind Sterling High School, 300 West Baker Road in Baytown
Sterling High School Field is the home site for Ross Sterling junior varsity, sophomore, and freshman football games and RSS boys' and girls' soccer.
From the east of west, Sterling High School can be found by exiting off I-10 at Garth Road. Go south on Garth Road approximately three miles to Baker Road. Landmarks at the corner of Garth and Baker are Chevron/McDonald’s, Burger King, Shipley Donuts, and San Jacinto Hospital. Turn left on Baker and RSS is located approximately one-fourth mile on the left. Park in the west parking lot (left side as you face the front of the building) to access the athletic facilities.
From the south, enter Baytown by crossing the Hartman Bridge on Hwy. 146. Remain on Hwy. 146 North (do not take the business route) and exit at Garth Road. Go left (north) on Garth until you reach Baker Road. Turn right on Baker and the school will be on your left.
