Welcome
to Sterling High School Library
Our library offers almost twenty-three thousand
books, twenty computers, and many magazines to help students
with their class work.
The
library's computers provide CD-ROMs on literature, science,
history, and biography. Several encyclopedias are also installed
on our computers. Students can use the Internet in the library
as well, but only for academic research.
You
may come to the library before school, during your lunchtime,
or after school without a pass. During class, though, you'll
need a signed pass from your teacher.
The
library is for studying, reading, and researching. Socializing
distracts you from your work and makes it hard for those around
you to do theirs. Before-school and lunchtime conversations
belong in the Commons!
