Voters approve both propositions in bond election

Goose Creek well represented at TMEA conference Feb. 9 through 12
Goose Creek CISD was well represented at the Texas Music Educators Association conference in San Antonio Feb. 9 through 12, with numerous students earning top honors and the Sterling High School Meistersingers spotlighted in a feature performance.

 

 
Lee Future Farmers of America win top awards in recent contests
Robert E. Lee High School Future Farmers of America students won top awards in two recent competitions. On Jan. 14, the group competed at a show in Sheldon ISD, with Bethany Brown taking second place in the Class 3 goat competition. Bethany also won sixth place in the Class 4 goat contest.
Matt Cannon won fourth place in the Class 1 goat category, and Jacob Trawick placed eighth in the Class 3 goat contest.
