The Career Academies of GCCISD GC Memorial High School Global Business Career Academy

The Global Business Career Academy at Goose Creek Memorial (GCM) offers students engaging business curriculum, along with opportunities for job shadowing, internships, career certifications, and preparation for college and the business world. Students within the academy can select from two distinct pathways: Business Management and Business Dual Credit Associates Plan all featuring rigorous and coherent sequences of business courses. Supported by dedicated teachers at every grade level, students seamlessly integrate related business activities into their academic and technical coursework across all academy classes. In their senior year, students have the opportunity to secure internships at institutions such as Beacon Federal Credit Union, Houston Methodist Hospital, Chick-fil-A, and other businesses aligned with their interests and chosen pathway, ultimately earning a Business & Industry Endorsement with Performance Acknowledgments through industry-based certifications.
