Danika Cerino

Giant Student of the Month

Danika Cerino, a senior at Robert E. Lee High School, is our Giant Student of the Month for November 2021. Danika is ranked #6 in her class with a long list of responsibilities: President of National Honor Society, Vice President of Student Council, varsity volleyball Co-Captain, and STEM Ambassador. She is also an active member of the class of 2022 planning committee, GCCISD robotics team, AVID, interact club, UIL, Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy, and envision.

Although Danika has many accomplishments that make her a giant, she was nominated because of her character. She is always the first to show up and last to leave and expects nothing in return. She is a leader and dedicated to her peers and campus. She perseveres through adversity and challenges herself daily in the classroom. Danika is a true example of a Goose Creek CISD Giant!
