Gentry Robotics Team Places in Competition
Gentry Robotics Team

Gentry Junior School’s Robotics Team proudly took home a trophy from the recent Robotics Competition, beating seven teams. Despite struggles with team members moving to other states and with losing all programming due to computer problems a few days before the competition, Gentry persevered and was the only team to program the hardest mission, thanks to the work of Alfredo Alva the night before the contest. Pictured are (front, from left) Josce Kinder, Anahi Guzman, Brandon Hak (back, from left) Carlos Topete and Francisco Andrade. Programmers were David Moreno, Andrade, Hak and Alva. Researchers included Kinder, Guzman and Natalie Delacruz. Carlos Topete and Landin Kocsis provided motivation and instruments to help the team. The GJS Robotics Team is coached by Jonathan Abston and Diana Sosa.
