District Teachers of the Year
Tim Vaughn, choir director at Ross S. Sterling High School, was selected as Goose Creek CISD’s 2005 Secondary Teacher of the Year, and Patti Albright, fifth-grade teacher at Lorenzo De Zavala Elementary School, was chosen as 2005 District Elementary Teacher of the Year. |

Lee Future Farmers of America win
top awards in recent contests
Robert E. Lee High School Future Farmers of America students won top awards in two recent competitions. On Jan. 14, the group competed at a show in Sheldon ISD, with Bethany Brown taking second place in the Class 3 goat competition. Bethany also won sixth place in the Class 4 goat contest. Matt Cannon won fourth place in the Class 1 goat category, and Jacob Trawick placed eighth in the Class 3 goat contest. |
