IMPACT Early College High School recently received recognition from U.S. News and World Report and Niche 2020 Best Schools.

 

U.S. News and World Report ranked IMPACT as one of the Best High Schools in the Houston Metro Area and one of the Best Texas High Schools. Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, including math and reading proficiency, graduation rate and preparation of students for college. The school tied for first place in the national and state graduation rate rankings with a graduation rate of 100 percent.

 

IMPACT ECHS also received an overall grade of A- from Niche, based on the categories of Academics, Teachers, Clubs and Activities, Diversity, College Prep and Health and Safety. The school ranked 69th of 414 Niche Standout High Schools in Texas and was selected as one of the Best Public High Schools in Texas.

 

“I am so proud of the accomplishments of our students and the accolades they bring to our school, and our IMPACT faculty and staff members are the foundation of success for our students,” said Laura Reyes, IMPACT principal. “Doing what is best for students is always at the forefront of decision-making, and our team goes above and beyond to do their best for students. This is what pushes all of us towards success. They set high standards for our Spartans and provide the encouragement and support to help them meet and exceed those expectations.”
