Join Us in Welcoming Earnest Brooks, Our New Principal at Edward Franklin Green Junior School

Mr. Brooks is a graduate of Lee High School, class of 1994. He began his career in education at Cedar Bayou Junior School in 2000, where he taught special education and coached for 13 years. At CBJ, he was named campus teacher of the year and was the recipient of the James Becker Thompson award. In 2013, Brooks became the assistant principal at Baytown Junior until 2015, where he then served as AP at Horace Mann until 2018. Mr. Brooks has been the principal at LaPorte Junior High since 2018 and will serve as principal to the new junior school set to open fall of 2021.

Earnest is married to Alicia Brooks, wife of 20 years, with two children, Yasmine and Derrick.
