Ross S. Sterling’s baseball program stuffed the car given to John Rose III by Lee and Leila Bates with presents for his daughter Journee, 4. Bates Collision Centers have donated 40 cars in the past 22 years through their Bates Responsible Parenting Award and Benevolence Program. The Bates worked with the Harris County Department of Education’s Head Start Program to select a deserving family in need of transportation to give a refurbished car. This is the seventh year RSS baseball has donated a carload of gifts for the family receiving the car from the Baytown Bates Collisions Centers location.
