Mr. Ray Jackson, Health Science Teacher at Lee HS and CTE New Teacher of the Year, has been selected by the Career and Technical Association of Texas as the Texas CTE New Teacher of the Year as a result of his interview at the state conference two weeks ago. Mr. Jackson will move forward to interview for the Association of Career and Technical Education Region IV New Teacher of the Year! This award recognizes new CTE teachers who have made significant contributions toward innovative and unique career and technical education programs and shown a professional commitment early in their careers. Mr. Jackson has certainly done an amazing job with his students over the past few years, with one of his students advancing to National HOSA competitions last year.
