"I attended the University of Houston and received my Bachelor of Business Administration in 2004. Two of my major accomplishments were being crowned Homecoming Queen and Miss University of Houston and being elected to two terms as the Student Body President.

My college experience was one that I wouldn’t change for the anything in the world. As a first generation college student on both sides of my family I had many teachable moments. The most memorable moment was learning the importance of a syllabus. Needless to say I failed a psychology test and was told to review my syllabus for the next exam. I had never heard that word but later made reviewing my syllabi a part of my daily routine."
