Giant Student of the Month

Giant Student of the Month Angelina Bass is a 7th grader at Baytown Junior. She was nominated by her science teacher, Andrea Gorney. Andrea said, “I have been completely inspired by Angelina, as she has more grit and work ethic than some adults I have known. She is not deterred by the work she is expected to do at school, even though she has much responsibility at home.” Angelina helps her working father take care of her younger brother. She gives 100% in class by asking questions, finishing assignments, and showing curiosity in the subject. She is inspiring to others because of her drive to succeed regardless of challenges.
