
Welcome, James Gray, Lee High School’s new principal. Mr. Gray graduated from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in general studies and a master’s degree in special education with an educational administration credential. He started his career in 1984 as a special education paraprofessional before becoming a teacher in 1991. From 1997-2005 he served as a middle school and high school assistant principal and principal in New Orleans before moving to California to serve as a principal in Oakland Unified School District and San Lorenzo Unified School District.
James has been married for 38 years and has three children: educators, two teachers, and an administrator. In addition, he has four grandchildren and loves watching sports.
