Dr. Anthony Price serves as the district’s Assistant Superintendent of Operation Services. He assists the superintendent in providing district leadership as well as oversees the management of several departments, including: transportation, custodial, grounds, food services, maintenance, safe and secure schools, police and security, facility rentals, and the Operations Services warehouse. Dr. Price’s departments are the support mechanisms of the district, supplying assistance to all departments.

 
Dr. Price began his career in education as a math teacher with Ft. Worth ISD, where he received several recognitions, including Teacher of the Year in 1994 -1995 and Outstanding Teacher of the Year in 1995 -1996.  He was also named the Tandy Scholar Teacher of the Year in 1997 - 1998. 

 
He came to Goose Creek in 2015 from Rosebud-Lott ISD, where as superintendent, he helped the district meet standards in all areas and emerged as a leading technology-equipped district. He also served as an administrator with Everman ISD, Arlington ISD and Ft. Worth ISD. 

 
Price holds a degree in electronic engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology and served as a biomedical and aerospace engineer before starting his career in education over 30 years ago. He earned a master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University and his Ph.D.  in Educational Leadership from Walden University.
