Kevin Foxworth, area executive director of campus leadership, has accumulated over two decades of service with Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District. He is responsible for an assigned cluster of campuses, where he supervises and works with principals to ensure academic success by developing and implementing innovative instructional programs and strategies to meet the needs of all campuses.

Foxworth was born and raised in Baytown, where he attended Bowie Elementary, Cedar Bayou Junior School, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School.  He earned an athletic scholarship to play tennis at San Jacinto Jr. College, and then went on to earn a scholarship to play tennis and graduate with his Bachelor of Science from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee.  He earned his master’s degree in mid-management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Before transitioning into the area executive director position, Kevin served for three years as the executive director of strategic planning and support services. In addition, he served as principal of Ross S. Sterling High School for three years and was selected as Principal of the Year in 2015-2016. He also served as principal of Highlands Junior School for four years and as assistant principal at both Ross S. Sterling and Goose Creek Memorial High Schools. Before beginning his career in administration, Kevin was a teacher and coach at Ross S. Sterling High School and Horace Mann Junior School.
