Ezequiel Hernandez

Giant Student of the Month

Stuart Career Technical High School is designed to give students the opportunity to accelerate their success. Ezequiel Hernandez, our Giant Student of the Month for January 2022, is an excellent example of this mission. Ezequiel is a third generation Goose Creek CISD student. The senior recently won the first place grand prize at a welding competition. Last semester, he earned his official welding certificate from Lee College, allowing him the opportunity to begin on the job experience while continuing his education.

He is a positive influence and a shining example to his peers. Ezequiel serves as an ambassador for the school, which is an individual that helps prospective students and stakeholders understand the benefits of attending SCTHS. Although Ezequiel has faced personal challenges, his goals stay a top priority as he takes full advantage of the dual credit and hands-on experience that the program has to offer.
