Let’s give a Giant welcome to Dr. Keri Launius, the new principal at Travis Elementary. Dr. Launius has worked for over 23 years in education. Her experience includes teacher, assistant principal, elementary principal, early college high school principal, and executive director of curriculum and instruction. This year, she served as the director of instruction and professional development at Pecos Barstow Toyah ISD. Dr. Launius has a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and is a published author. Her husband, John, is a high school football coach. Together, they have three children.
