Members of the Goose Creek CISD Executive Team, Facilities and Operations and Fine Arts departments, Citizens Bond Oversight Committee, Lee High School staff and students and other stakeholders signed a beam that will be placed in the new Robert E. Lee Fine Arts building during a celebratory event on August 19th.

Ray Lavan, Director of Fine Arts, had this to say at the event, “We are very happy to celebrate the progress of the Fine Arts building and we hope that it will be an amazing space for our Fine Arts students to help guide them towards their potential.”

The building is still in the construction phase with a tentative completion date in 2023.
