Congratulations to Jennifer Alaniz, our new Director of Tax Services. Jennifer was born and raised in Baytown and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. She started with the maintenance department in 1994 before transferring to the tax office in 1996. She obtained her tax collector certification in 2003 and her tax assessor certification in 2005.

Mrs. Alaniz brings experience to the role from working with special collections, property improvement development, tax increment reinvestment zones, chapter 313 limitation, yearly audits, and yearly property values studies for state reporting.
