Kendall David serves as the executive director of community engagement for GCCISD. Her office oversees the planning and execution of the district’s strategic plan, community engagement, communications, marketing, AVID, websites, social media, education foundation, and the print shop. Mrs. David is also an AVID National Presenter and the AVID District Director for GCCISD.

Mrs. David has served as the Director of Marketing for the district since 2019, where she led the district marketing campaign, Here, We Grow Giants. She is a Baytown native and graduated from Lee High School before attending Lee College and playing volleyball for McMurry University, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Marketing degree.

Mrs. David started her career in 2010 as a teacher and coach at Baytown Junior. She earned her Master’s in School Counseling and Educational Leadership. Kendall soon became a school counselor at Lee High School before returning to Baytown Junior as an assistant principal, where she stayed for four years.
