Several Goose Creek Memorial students competed the in the regional UIL Academic and One-Act Play (OAP) competition last weekend and have advanced to the State level.
UIL State members include Swayam Gupta, Arin Sood, Laksh Naikele, and Aayush Koora. They placed in Number Sense, Calculator Applications, and Mathematics. These events are coached by GCM UIL Coach Sean Kang.
GCM UIL State Academic team members proudly pose with their awards. These students will head to the State competition in May.
Brooke Schrull will be competing at UIL State for Computer Application. Her GCM UIL Coach is Angie Johnson.
Emelia Logan & Juan Huerta made UIL State for Theatrical Design. Their GCM UIL Coach is theater directors, Gina Martin & Peyton Wood.
The students will move forward to compete at the University of Texas at Austin on May 17-18th.
