Giant Student of the Month

Our Giant Student of the Month for October 2023 is Trang Dang, a fourth grader at Travis Elementary. Trang recently moved to the United States from Vietnam. Despite the challenges of learning a new language, she approaches every task with enthusiasm and determination.

One of Trang’s most remarkable traits is her contagious positive attitude. She greets every student and teacher with a smile. Language barriers don’t deter Trang from socializing with peers, working with them in class, and sharing her excellent sense of humor with everyone at school.
