Congratulations to Dr. Roger Cardona, the new principal of Cedar Bayou Junior School!

Dr. Cardona is in his 7th year of secondary administration. He is coming to Goose Creek CISD from with experience as a former assistant principal and science teacher in Alvin ISD, Houston ISD, and Beaumont ISD. He received his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, master’s degree from Lamar University, and Doctorate of Education from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a Superintendent specialization. Dr. Cardona is an active learner who enjoys data tracking, supporting accountability processes, and engaging with stakeholders to meet the needs of learners. He is excited to join Bear Country and continue to highlight the outstanding history and success of the community.
