Congratulations to Nancy Bonds, recently appointed as the new Director of Communications! Ms. Bonds brings extensive experience to her new role, having served in various capacities across the district, including 4th and 5th grade Math & Science teacher at Lamar Elementary, 6th and 7th grade Math teacher at Highlands Junior, Math Instructional Specialist, and Educational Technology Specialist at the high school level.

Nancy is a proud graduate of Lee High School and holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Texas A&M University, as well as a Master’s in Educational Administration from Lamar University. She is also a third-generation Goose Creek CISD employee and has dedicated 17 years to serving the district.

Having spent my entire career in this district, I’ve seen firsthand the positive impact we can make on our students, staff, and community.
