Patricia Ducote

Patricia Ducote brings a wealth of experience and passion to her new role as Director of Transportation. Her career in pupil transportation has been marked by dedication, leadership, and a drive for excellence. Patricia began her journey as a bus driver and trainer at New Caney ISD, eventually earning the role of Transportation Supervisor. During her time there, she obtained her Official Transportation Certification from the Texas Association for Pupil Transportation (TAPT) and later served as Director of Transportation for Channelview ISD.

 

Patricia’s contributions to the field extend beyond her district roles. She has served as President of TAPT (2022-2023) and the Gulf Coast Association for Pupil Transportation (2023-2024), while continuing as a long-standing committee member in both organizations. Her leadership within these professional associations reflects her commitment to advancing pupil transportation standards across the state.

 

Within GCCISD, Patricia has held key positions, including Lead Transportation Coordinator and Associate Director of Transportation, preparing her to take the helm as Director. She credits her four daughters as her greatest inspiration, driving her to work hard, grow, and lead with purpose.

 

Patricia is passionate about improving student transportation, fostering the success of drivers, and building strong community relationships. She looks forward to continuing her journey with GCCISD, where her vision aligns with the district’s commitment to excellence in transportation services.
