Music education is extremely important to the development of young students. It can help to improve their motivation, self-confidence and overall achievement. The Goose Creek CISD Fine Arts department continues to instill the love of the arts in into the lives of every student they come across. Goose Creek Memorial, Lee and Sterling High School marching bands continue to set the tune and raise the bar! All three high school marching bands received sweepstakes at the Region UIL Marching Band competition last Saturday. These amazing students will compete in the area competition this Saturday at Legacy Stadium in Katy.
