Giant Staff Member of the Month

Our Giant Staff Member of the Month for November 2021, Clemente Alvarez, has worked for Goose Creek CISD for nearly twenty years in the facilities and maintenance department. Clemente is an unsung hero, his extremely high standard of lawn care for one of the most public buildings, central administration, is unmatched. He meticulously cares for the large ground cover surrounding the building as well as the four acres, including brushes, trees, and grass.

He believes making the face of Goose Creek CISD look pristine is of utmost importance. He has a humble spirit and takes immense pride in his work. An immigrant from Mexico and one of seven children, Clemente has worked hard for his family of seven children, sixteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. His smile, positive attitude, and willingness to do whatever it takes are infectious and inspiring. He is prime example of being a Goose Creek CISD Giant.
