Congratulations to Lisa Steele, our new Human Resources Director. Lisa joined Goose Creek CISD in July 2018 as the Coordinator of Human Resources. Last year, she became the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development. Over the past five years, Lisa has worked on the mentor program, clinical internships, and the new teacher academy. In addition, she has led various recruitment initiatives, such as our GCCISD Grow Your Own programs.

Before Goose Creek, Mrs. Steele was a high school science teacher in Galena Park ISD and served Sheldon ISD as an instructional coach, district curriculum specialist, and dean of instruction. She will graduate with a Doctor of Education in Professional Leadership K-12 in May 2023.
