The Goose Creek CISD Junior School Battle of the Books competition took place earlier this month. Each team consisted of five students representing their respective grade levels. In preparation for the event since October, students delved into a list of 15 books. The competition format included 15 questions per round, with teams accumulating points to progress to the next round. Unfortunately, the team with the fewest points in each round faced elimination. Following the intense competition at the Tech Building, all participants gathered at Max Bowl for a celebratory event where they received well-deserved medals and trophies.
