ExxonMobil, through the GCCISD Education Foundation, has donated $15,000 to the district's robotics program. This funding will provide students with hands-on experience in robotics, allowing them to design, build, and strategize while honing essential collaboration and team-building skills. The program encourages creativity and problem-solving through innovative activities that prepare students for STEM-focused careers.

Covestro has committed $10,000 to fund scholarships for graduating GCCISD seniors who plan to enroll in STEM programs at accredited colleges or universities. These scholarships, which vary in number and amount annually, are available to students with a declared major in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and submit a one-page essay detailing their interest in engineering and highlights of their school, work, and volunteer experiences over the past two years.
GCCISD deeply appreciates the generosity of ExxonMobil and Covestro, whose contributions are instrumental in advancing STEM education and supporting students on their paths to success.
