Giant Student of the Month

Our Giant Student of the Month for September 2025 is Yoleth Trevino, 3rd grader at Stephen F. Austin Elementary.

Yoleth has achieved more in her young life than many do in a lifetime. After a devastating accident led to the loss of her leg, she has embraced life with courage and determination, thriving as a confident prosthetic wearer. With what she proudly calls her “bionic leg,” Yoleth continues to move forward with strength, joy, and an unshakeable spirit.

Though she was expected to recover at home for six weeks, Yoleth amazed everyone by returning to school in just two. Her resilience shines daily as she lifts her classmates, excels in her studies, and proves that even in the face of challenges, there is always a path forward.

Yoleth is more than a survivor—she is an inspiration. Her radiant smile, perseverance, and positivity embody the very heart of what it means to be a Giant.
