Giant Staff Member of the Month

Our Giant Staff Member of the Month for September 2025 is Albert Bear, Music Teacher at Crockett Elementary.

Mr. Bear goes above and beyond every day to make every student feel included. His classroom is more than a place to learn music—it is a space where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

Recently, Mr. Bear took the initiative to research braille so that a visually impaired student could more fully experience and enjoy music. Beyond his dedication to accessibility, he has an incredible knack for building relationships and connecting with students in ways that make them feel truly seen and understood. His creativity, compassion, and commitment shine through in everything he does.

Mr. Bear is an asset to Crockett Elementary and to Goose Creek CISD. His dedication to inclusion, his gift for forming meaningful connections, and his ability to use music as a tool for empowerment and belonging exemplify what it means to be a Giant.
