
Fox Selected as Director of Counseling and Career & College Readiness
Please join us in welcoming Kim Fox as our new director of counseling and college and career readiness. Fox came to Goose Creek CISD in 2007 as a counselor at Bowie Elementary. She served as an administrative intern from 2009-2011, taking the position as lead counselor at Robert E. Lee High School in 2011. Starting in 2017, she served REL as academic dean and was instrumental in supporting the STEM Academy, which received the T-STEM Designation and National Model Academy status. The campus also received honors as an Apple Distinguished School.
Fox received an associate degree in early childhood development from San Jacinto College-Central, a bachelor of science degree in interdisciplinary studies/earth science from the University of Houston Clear Lake and an M.Ed. in school counseling from the University of West Alabama.
Fox is married to Lonnie Fox, engineering teacher at REL, and they have three children – Megan, Lindsey and Mason.
