39th Annual Sterling Bazaar to be held Saturday
The 39th Annual Sterling Bazaar is Saturday, November 19, at Ross S. Sterling High School from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. More than 80 booths of crafts, boutique items, yard art, jewelry, Christmas gifts and more will be available for shoppers. Admission is free.
The Sterling Stars will once again sponsor the annual Chicken Spaghetti Dinner, prepared by Stuart Career Center Culinary Arts. Tickets for the meal are $8 pre-sale from any Star or $10 at the door. There will be entertainment throughout the day in the Girls Gym, including performances by the Stephen F. Austin Elementary Honor Choir, Baytown Dance Company, Sterling Star Showcase, Sterling Star Officers, Crockett Choir and the Carver Stars.
This is the sole fundraiser for the RSS PALs, a leadership organization that works with at-risk and life skills students in elementary, junior high and high school. This group of outstanding young men and women not only contribute to the well-being of our school district, but also to our community. The RSS PALs facilitate many community service projects, including setting up all the luminaries for the Bay Area Relay for Life, Thanksgiving boxes for over 200 Baytown families and the Ho Ho Ho Scavenger Hunt, where food collected is donated to the Baytown Food Bank.
Don’t miss this exciting event! It’s a good time to get started on Christmas shopping.
