Goose Creek CISD Students Compete at National History Day

Connor Fanning, sixth-grade student at Gentry Junior School, is pictured with MK Marshall, Texas History Day coordinator, at the University of Maryland during the National History Day competition. Connor was recognized by Texas History Day with the Outstanding Entry Award, and he  placed sixth in Junior Individual Documentary  at National  History Day. Connor is the son of Michael Fanning (Ross S. Sterling High School) and Natosha Fanning (Ross S. Sterling High School). This is the 28th consecutive year Goose Creek CISD students have advanced to National History Day.
