Felix Martinez

Giant Student of the Month

Felix Martinez, an 8th grader at E.F. Green Junior School, is our Giant Student of the Month for October 2021. He came to Baytown from Cuba in 2020 with his mother and faced many challenges, such as being away from family and friends and learning a new language and way of life. Despite these challenges, Felix is dedicated to his education. He has worked hard to have command of the English language and is a leader in the classroom. He asks questions, participates, and never backs down from a challenge. In addition, he is kind and willing to help his classmates. He serves as an inspiration and is a great peer and student for E.F. Green. Thank you to Houston Methodist Baytown for sponsoring this award.
