Esteban and Sara Munguia

Giant Students of the Month

Our Giant Students of the Month for March 2022, Esteban and Sara Munguia are second grade twins in the Virtual Learning Academy. This is the first year of the Virtual Learning Academy in Goose Creek CISD. Esteban and Sara, although only in second grade, are example scholars. They have straight A’s and have mastered time management on the virtual learning platform. They show up each day ready to learn and participate with an excited, energized attitude. They sign up for extra tutoring sessions and are eager to ask questions. They are kind to their classmates and are always willing to help others navigate this new way of learning.

Being twins, they have a friendly competition which fuels them to achieve success. Their hard work and dedication are inspiring and proof that students can be successful on a variety of different platforms! Thank you to Houston Methodist Baytown for sponsoring this award.
