Goose Creek CISD has successfully renewed its CoSN Trusted Learning Environment (TLE) Seal.

CoSN is a world-class professional association for K-12 EdTech leaders with a mission to provide current and aspiring K-12 education technology leaders with the community, knowledge, and professional development they need to create and grow engaging learning environments. CoSN represents over 2,050 school districts reaching over 11 million students.

The CoSN Trusted Learning Environment Seal embodies the commitment of our district to safeguard the privacy of student data. This program is the nation’s only privacy framework designed specifically for school systems. The TLE program helps K-12 schools and districts build strong, effective privacy programs, and a culture of trust and transparency. Earning the TLE Seal is a mark of distinction, signaling that our district has implemented high standards for student data privacy protections around five core practice areas: Leadership, Business, Data Security, Professional Development, and Classroom. In summary, Goose Creek CISD has taken strong, measurable steps to help protect the privacy of student data.
